Seduced AI exists because the AI companion world moves fast and explains itself badly. We are here to give adults a clear, level-headed read on it, the kind we wished existed when we started.

The work we do

We test and document AI girlfriend and AI companion apps, from the quality of the conversation to the voice, image, and video features layered on top. Half the job is hands-on use; the other half is the unglamorous reading of privacy terms and pricing tables that most people never get to. The goal of Seduced AI is simple: leave you better informed than the marketing would.

How a review gets made

We sign up the way anyone would, run the free tier, and pay for a plan when the answer depends on it. We read the data policy end to end, verify prices at checkout rather than on the landing page, and trace every factual claim to a named source. A second editor checks the piece before it publishes, corrections are made in the open, and we revisit older coverage because terms in this space change without warning.

What we measure

Each app is scored on what affects you in practice: does the conversation feel natural and stay consistent, does memory actually work, how good are voice and visuals, and what is the true cost after the trial. Above all we scrutinise privacy, because it is the sharpest risk in this category. When something is weak, the review says so; the boundaries of our opinions are set out in the Disclaimer.

Independence

Affiliate commissions pay for this site, and we never pretend otherwise. The verdict is written before any commercial link goes in, and links only ever point to companions we would actually suggest to someone we like.

Who is behind it

Editorial direction comes from Riley Hayes, whose background is in consumer tech, generative AI, and privacy reporting. We use AI tools to help draft, but a person writes, verifies, and signs off on everything before it reaches you.
